I have a computer that has basically gotten overloaded with user installed gadgets and toolbars (and other cpu wasting stuff). It is affecting general use of the computer and making it unstable, so I will be doing a clean sweep and probably reformat the HD.
Will a reformat of the HD require a new Tops license? or can I use the same one that I already have?
Thanks,
Sean

Yes, reformatting your hard drive will require a new TOPS license. Once you have redownloaded TOPS (or restored it from a backup), run makelic.exe, located in the TOPS directory. When the dialog for the application comes up, click "Save" (you do not need to fill in the empty fields), and email the resulting file to license@savvysoft.com. Include a note that this is due to a hard drive reformat, for our records, and we will generate and send you a new license.
