Risk Management SystemsSavvysoft offers two state-of-the-art risk management systems: STARS (Savvysoft Trading And Risk System) and TOPS-Book. Both are capable of dealing with instruments in any asset class. They differ in how they are delivered: STARS is a standalone system, while TOPS-Book runs inside Excel.
STARS is the more powerful of the two; and is geared more towards organizations with larger trading volumes and a wider variety of instruments. It offers the ability to filter, sort and drill-down into portfolios in a completely flexible fashion. TOPS-Book is a more familiar environment, since users are using Excel, and can take advantage of all the features of Excel.
